I love the shows after sunset due to the striking visual treat it offers against the well lit Burj Khalifa. There is a show every 30 minutes starting at 6 PM and the show itself last for about 5 minutes(duration of the song chosen). Every time I have visited the fountain in all these years, I was surprised at the crowd that is present to see these shows any day of the week! I recommend watching atleast 2 shows; chances are the first show that you reach for already has no unobstructed viewing area left, so waiting for the second show offers you the best view!

2. Desert Safari - Dune Bashing Thrills & Arabian night
